"Welcome to Hollywood. You are going to "American Idol." You should ponder and consider the imagery as seen from YouTube above beyond the prism of your American mainstream news media, which has done a lousy job of informing the American public about the non-Western world.
And you should seriously weighed this in the context of U.S.-West relations with the rest of the non-Western world, especially Asia-Pacific societies.
Welcome to blogosphere ! Without the gatekeepers and the "cultural blinders" worn by the mainstream Western news media.
I respectfully say this in the spirit after 9-11, when all eyes from the world empathise with Americans by their poignant expressions of sympathy, including such words:
"We are all Americans."
" Nous somme tout Americains."
" Wo mien da chia si Mei Guo Ren."
"Americanos kaming lahat."
What happened since 9-11 ? Why are Americans today viewed no longer as friends but "bullies" all over the non-Western world ? And ignorant too.
London, Paris, and San Francisco last week further worsened this change in attitude.
