In the name of a free press, here's two narratives establishing "beyond a reasonable doubt" with not one iota of controverted evidence that indeed the Moon shines brighter in the West; and the farts there, sans pollution, indeed smell more fragrant. Or is it?

Mr. Solzhenitsyn, before he returned to Mother Russia, harshly criticised what he saw as the ugliness and spiritual vapidity of the dominant pop culture of the modern West, including television and rock music: "…the human soul longs for things higher, warmer and purer than those offered by today's mass living habits … by TV stupor and by intolerable music."
I sincerely hope that those ethnic Chinese overseas who naively believe today that " the Western Moon is Rounder" and that "Westerners' farts smell more fragrant" read up and study the sad story of Mr. Solzhenitsyn.
Evidently, in the current climate of China bashing in the WEST, "Poster girl" and "Poster boy" are being pursued by the Western mainstream news media, i.e. "Chinese faces" as the "metaphors" of all the evil inside the new evil empire.
And many Chinese overseas unwittingly fall victims to this exploitation.
