I caught a blog by one Jeremiah Jenne posted at China Desk, the blog site hosted by Susan Brownell, an American academic in Beijing, now covering the Beijing Olympics ushering her views and other largely "Western" expats living in China in their "privileged position" with more money in their pockets and living in much better conditions than locals as the new "sahibs."
Mr. Jeremian Jenne represents to me as a Sinophile who reads up a lot about Chinese history, except for one thing, he thinks that the Western "white knight" remain at the center of the stage, and that China must follow the "Europeanized" way, or else.......

This exemplifies a segment of China's expat community from the West. Arrogant white privileged "ninnies" full of hubris, arrogance, in their exalted positions as "White expats" living as neocolonials inside China. Jian You 贱友 - bad friends. Yes, Massah. Yes. Sahib. Yousir. Yousir !
To make matters worse, he takes on "cultural blinders" to twist around and distort what was a Western orchestrated demonization, dogging, and lynching of the Olympics torch along the routes on London, Paris, and San Francisco, and a surly Western "China Bashing" "China Demonization" "Chinaman Lynching" campaign in April, 2008, as a act of aggressiveness on the part of nationalist Chinese youths !
What a crock of mi tian gung !
