Yesterday, I had blogged (See below)about how the story has been massaged and distorted to suit the Westerner's distaste of any but their own "macho" mountaineering feats. And from most of the Western news media, the story of the ascent of the Olympics torch up the Himalayas had been mostly embargoed or deminimalized. Talk about a Free Press. What good is is a "Free Press" if the freedom is not exercised responsibly by white people in the WEST, embued with their own "white supremacist" hubris ?
