To all Chinese inside and outside of China today, all descendants of the Yellow Emperor, as we commemorate May 4th, 2008, in solemn memory of those Chinese ancestors who stood up on May 4th, 1919, after World War II:
Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends. My fellow descendants of the Yellow Emperor. In 1919, we saw and experienced what the WEST did to us Chinese in Shandong Province. We saw what the Western Allies did in carving out the colony of vanquished Germany and grant unto the Japanese fascists.
It is historical deja this year, the year of the Beijing Olympics 2008. And as it was in 1919, the same bigotry has been unleashed upon us Chinese by the WEST.
And so even though we face the difficulties of Western Bashing and Demonization, and are experiencing the strident screaming, hectoring, and insults heaped upon us by those who heaped scorn upon China and its people, and those white folks who have recently "bad-mouth" the Beijing Olympics Games, I still have a dream.
Don't despair, because the WEST has no moral standing, nor the wherewiththals, with less than 500 million people, tops, to tell 1.3 billion people, how CHINA and its people may govern itself, and which path its society elects to progress and proceed, with equanimity and dignity.
Enough said. It is time to rally together and unite. All children and descendants of the Yellow Emperor.
I have a Dream today.
It is a dream deeply rooted in our sense of Chineseness and our sense as a peoples, as a civilization.
I have a dream that day CHINA has risen up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." Western men and non-Western men. Asians and Westerners. Arabs and Jews. That 900 million Westerners have no standing to bully 5.6 billion peoples in the non-Western World who don't subscribe to Western views of a "Europeanised World, " about what the true meaning of "democracy" or "human rights" are. That China and its people have every right to choose its own path, its own way, without any outsiders, least of all the WEST, interloping upon China's national sovereignty, with over 55 ethnic minorities, included, under ONE CHINA, ONE SOCIETY, ONE PEOPLE, and ONE CIVILIZATION.
I dream that we will one day, the World will be a different World, i.e A world where the white man, in his hubris, and bullying ways, will no longer lord it over and claim standing to lecture to us Chinese what to do with our country, within our own borders, on how we want to live our lives. No meddling. No interloping. And respect to the dignity of the Chinese peoples.
I have a Dream.
That all Chinese people will exorcise from their deepest most souls and being, any residues of Western colonialism, any colonial mentality that the "Western Moon is rounder; or that the Western Fart smells more fragrant."
I have a dream that one day on the high plateau of TIBET, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood, without the CIA, the Western powers, the Germans, the Brits, the French, and yes, the Americans, interloping to decide whether or not TIBET belongs to China, and come within the embrace of "One China" with over 55 ethnic groups, under one big umbrella, under one civilization, the CHINESE CIVILIZATION.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that the peoples of TAIWAN finally awakes and realize that the island of 23 million peoples, all children of the Yellow Emperor, decide that they want to be part of and return to the embrace of ONE CHINA, the Beijing Olympics Dream, and the Motherland we call the Chinese civilization, regardless of politics and political differences.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that Ma Ying Jeau, at the prodding of the peoples of Taiwan, the will of all the inhabitants of Taiwan, that Ma Ying Jeau decided that he will run the Olympics torch in the streets of Taipei, together with athletes of Taiwan, in a detour of the Olympics torch, from Hainan Island to Taiwan Island.
I have a dream that the Beijing Olympics will decide on detouring the Olympics torch to make a special run in the streets of Taipei.
This is my hope, and our hope, of all descendants of the Yellow Emperior, inside China and overseas in the Chinese Diaspora, scattered all throughou the globe.
And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of the children of the Yellow Emperor will be able to sing with new meaning:
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my our forefathers died, land of Confucius, Lao Tzu, and Mencius, and Sun Yat Sen; land of the Yellow Emperor, the cradle of Chinese civilization, holding heads high, with righteousness, and self-dignity, intact.
From every Yellow River, and the Yangtze, let Chinese peoples sense of dignity and national pride ring! Let all Chinese stand tall and high, without being arrogant, humble but firm, silent but dignified.
And if the WEST would like to insult us Chinese, let them bear the wrath and consequences from the children of the Yellow Emperor, in the strongest, firmest stance.
Enough is Enough. We will not allow your hubris, your arrogance, your bullying go without the appropriate response, by our own means, by our own time, with our own appropriate measure.
Be forwarned, WEST. Bullying WEST !
Let's speed up that day when all of children of the Yellow Emperor, Tibetans, Mongols, Huis, Hans, and all 55 ethnic minorities under the embrace of ONE CHINA, ONE PEOPLE, will be to join hands and stand up to the WEST, and say:
Free at last! Free at last! from the yokes of Western Imperialism and Colonialism.
Free of the banality and incivility of the WEST. Free of its hubris, bullying, and hectoring of the arrogant European racists and White supremacists, among them are the German fascists and neo-Nazis, of the Narco-Green fascists, and in the United States of America, the American hegemonists and China Bashers and Demonizers.
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last! And we Chinese, all descendants of the Yellow Emperor will be free at last from Western hegemony and bullying !
