I hyperlinked below an illuminating piece of commentary from Jerusalem, from two rational Jewish intellectuals, Shalom Solomon Wald, who is a senior fellow at the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute in Jerusalem, and Antoine Halff, an adjunct professor of international and public affairs at Columbia University, who is an energy analyst in New York.

We know the New York Times is owned by a Jewish-American family. We also know that lately, the Times has relentlessly and maniacally instigated, scripted, steered, directed, machinated, and staged an ugly campaign of China-bashing and Chinese demonization in the lead-up to the Beijing Olympics Games.
This vicious campaign, from how the news was filtered through their biased media lenses has been amplified and dramatised beginning with the torch relay in Athens, through Paris, London, onto San Francisco.
This campaign has been motivated by growing resentment that they are losing grip of their dominance on the world stage, at all fronts, from economics, finances, academia, science, infotainment, multimedia, culture, and now......... sports.
Read what Mssrs. Wald and Halff have to say from their perspectives as Jews.
And while I am at it, I want to thank Mary Carillo of NBC Sports for being probably one of the most sensitive and broad-minded American TV news correspondent.
Ms. Carillo is playing an exemplary role in bridging the culture gap between China and America.
I won't say the same with some of the other shills in some of America's mainstream news media, including especially Jill Drew of the Washington Post, who is fundamentally a China basher at her core being.
Get off your high white horse, Jill. China is not for you to hate but to understand and learn more about !
