The Best Olympics Ever - Now What ? Read this close-minded, bigoted American mind and you figure out.

As Kishore Mahbhubani, the fomer Singaporean ambassador so correctly stated, "China is a closed country with an open mind; but the West is an open country with a closed mind."

How true indeed.

The Beijing Games was one opportunity that the West had in opening its mind and its heart.... to reach out, understand, and engage 1/5 of humanity in an honest dialogue.

But consider how narrow-minded, and weighed down with "cultural baggages" many pundits and so-called journalists exhibited in their reporting, analysis, and soundbites out of Beijing. Many American mainstream journalists just blew it. The maniacal obsession with dissing, insulting, bashing China, as shills for the bald-headed political monk for their illusionary pursuit of Shangri-la (which never existed) overwhelmed any rational attempt to understand one-fifth of humanity, in all its array and pockets of subcultures and complexity. They blew it.

And this one from the Los Angeles Times says it all. It is entitled, "The Best Olympics Games ever... but now what ?" Now what ? Gimme a break.

Goodness gracious, talk about "gweillo" narrow-mindness and bigotry. They are incorrigibles... these "pit bulls" from some in the Western news media.
