Americans and Europeans are often hectoring China and the Chinese peoples about human rights and democracy, according to their standards and practices.
Yeah...... Western liberal democracy...... like McDonald's hamburgers and french fries is the panacea for China's future.
On June 4th, this year, the 19th anniversary of Tiananmen, these proponents of spoonfeeding "liberal Western democracy" into China are still talking.
Except they grossly omit something so blatantly perverse and obscene about what they so mightily propose.... they don't practice what they preach for others.
And especially for white people.... there is one standard for them; and a different for all others who are non-white.
Beside the utter travesty of seeing America's prisons now flooded with colored people, i.e. mostly African-American and Latinos, while whites who commit criminal offenses are disproptionately given "privileged" sentencing and treated in a more lenient way, consider the following story about the privileged disposition of three white youths who scaled the Golden Gate Bridge in April, 2008, in an act of "brogaddoccio" allegedly in protest of the Beijing Olympics Games, and in support of "Team-Tibet-Shangri-la" and unfurling a " Free Tibet" banner 150 feet atop the suspension cables of the Golden Gate Bridge.
This act of publicity in the name of public protest for a cause apparently has little consequence in the perverted white liberal minds of San Francisco if the cause is a "cause du jour" favored by them. And they call this "American justice" according to white people.
In the process, these suburban "white privileged protesters," in doing their publicity stunt, not only placed themselves in danger, placed the public at peril, bu they also snarled vehicular traffic for hours in that very critical artery providing ingress and egress from the city and county of San Francisco north to Marin County. Wink, wink, oink, oink ? Only three white kids doing it.... not some colored kids.... black, brown, or yellow ! Let 'em eat quiche and drink beer ! Pat their backs for their daredevil stunt.... that seems to be the message.
Guess what ? The white-dominated system of justice in the white liberal bastion I call " the Banana Republic of San Francisco" has now further slapped China and the Chinese people with an insult in the manner by which these three white kids are treated..... royally with a "wink, wink, oink, oink" disposition worthy of a Banana Republic...... allowing these three miscreants to serve their sentencing, under a diversion program, of volunteering for 25 hours of "community service" for the Students for a Free Group..... the very same "mau mau" group from which these three emanated from to begin with !!! What kind of "crock" is this ? You call this American justice ?
You call that "The Rule of Law," white boys and girls ? And for China and the Chinese people to adopt this travesty of your much vaunted "liberal democracy" to a society of 1.3 billion peoples.
Gimme a break, dude !
That aside.... what if it were three Chinese kids caught scaling the Golden Gate Bridge, under the same scenario, unfurling a banner in support of the "Beijing Olympics 2008" games, 150 feet atop the bridge.... instead of three "privileged" white kids ?
Do you think the San Francisco court will give these Chinese kids the same dispensation by "winking, winking, oinking, oinking" and have these three serve time by volunteering at San Francisco Chinatown ?
